building your fashion library

My visual teachers always said, as a fashion student or a person who likes to look good, you should build your library. If you buy it at a museum or Ebay, you need to build your library and educated yourself on the history on fashion. When doing a project on Ralph Lauren, i came across this beautiful and huge book on Ralph Lauren life, career, and his collections. Another good books is Chanel:The Couturiere at Work, which I own myself and i love it! Just a simple book that i bought at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and you can purchase it at Barnes&Noble website.

Being a fashion student, you have different genre of fashion. You have you colorful girls, you simple floral girls, and keep it simple stupid all black, but the thing that make us special is that we all love fashion!

Talking to some fashionista in the city, i ask a simple question..."Describe the way you dress?" And i get the same answer..."i dress based on how i feel that day"!

The yellow brick road series continues...for spring it is all about keeping it simple, alot of florals, and don't forget a slash of color!

Yellow Brick Road in London

For the record my trip to London was amazing...and i think everyone should at least visit it! I saw the Eye of London, Big Ben, the Palace... and all the sight seeing spots but my favorite was in East London. East London would be the East Village for New York City which is very artsy and very creative. You saw more creative outfit even if it was a skirt with mustard tights and a blue cardigan..you saw the creativity! You never saw a lot of name dropping with outfits compare to New York but i loved it!

Victoria and Albert Museum

In my stay in London, the Victoria and Albert Museum got to receive my presents...lol...seriously it was a beautiful museum where fashion is splashed all over.
I enjoyed this museum so much just because the costumes was amazing with the different eras and different fashion capitals.
If you are ever in London, this is a must see museum and the location is

Dear Jet-setters,

I love London, if is from shopping in TopShop or having afternoon tea in Harrods, it is the life for me! So for the past couple of days i have been up serving the latest street fashion and i have one
good piece to show!

Which is just a normal fashionista! But i did get to got to the Victoria and Albert Museum which is really nice! I also pick up a book about Chanel and two trend books!
