Whatever Solange Wears, Do the Opposite.
.....this is not even funny..but it is...
When your sister has invented a split personality just so she can wear a metallic robot hand, and you still look more cracked out than she does, something is terribly wrong. Solange Knowles spent 2008 promoting her album in an eye-searing collage of feathers, giant beads, ruffles, and hot-pink leggings with elephants on them — all of which felt like sad attempts to wrest public attention from her older sibling. Couldn’t she just take a cue from Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and steal Beyoncé’s thunder by marrying a rocker and naming her kid Hakuna Matata or something? At least babies are cute.

Fashion Walk of Fame
In 1999, the Fashion Center BID established the Fashion Walk of Fame to honor New York’s most influential designers. It is the world’s first and only monument to American fashion. To date, twenty-six designers have been inducted into the Fashion Walk of Fame, thirteen of them posthumously. Each recipient is honored with a commemorative plaque that has been set in granite and embedded into the sidewalk along Seventh "Fashion" Avenue, from 41st Street to 35th Street, in the heart of America's Fashion District. Each plaque is made of white bronze and features an original fashion sketch and signature of the designer, as well as a description of his or her contribution to fashion.

Marc and Me
Out of all the most amazing things that has ever happen to me...all of the fashion shows, internships, and volunteer position has nothing on my experience last week! I went to pick-up samples at Marc Jacobs showroom and when i cames in...Mr. Jacobs was sitting in a corner with two other designers working on an inspiration board!
The colors, patterns, tattoos, big glasses, and the tank top was just the topping of my experience! Being a fan of his grudge work, Marc, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Litte Marc,Louis Vuitton and my future wedding dress has nothing on my love! Favorite designer inspiration, best businessman, amazing fashion shows that draws tears to my eyes... and out of all of that...i meet Marc Jacobs!!

LIM Celebrity Stylist Panel Discussion
New York,NY-LIM College had a panel discussion with stylist June Ambrose, Eric Damon, Mari Senofonte, and Tom Broecker who discussed the life and career of a stylist. 6:30 the room was full with chatter and munching until the stylist sat down and every eye was on them. All having different backgrounds but the passion to bring life to garments make them into one. June discussed branding yourself as a stylist, Tom spoke about the importance between your finances and career, Eric discussed studying the work of others and copying them, and Mari spoke about knowing the amount of your worth, making people feel comfortable around you, and the importance of NO DRAMA!!!
This lecture wasn't only after hours tea but was inspiration to the little girls and boys that dress up in their best clothes, read Vogue, and dreams about the day they would make it to the top! It was an honor to meet these fabulous, educated, and creative group of people that one day i wish to rub elbows with!

Lanvin Spring 2009
Marc Jacobs does it, again!!!
New York,NY. My favorite designer above all, Marc Jacobs, creative designer for Louis Vuitton(1997) did an amazing show for Spring 2009 in Paris on October 5,2008. Having two of his personal labels, Marc Jacobs Collection and Marc by Marc Jacobs ,it is easier for the designer to take his vision to the next level and stamp on a LV logo on it. This collection is very urban/ghetto swing to it but still very high fashion and my favorite is my girls, Chanel Iman & Jourdan Dunn....WORK!!! My personal judgement is A ...just because i love it and none of the collections look alike and ......this not what i would expect of LV thats what makes it sooooo hot!!!
